Bridge
I taught myself how to play bridge not too long ago and found it to be a pretty fun game. I'm still not great at it, but I'm a quick learner. Here are some handy links about the game of bridge:

Hearts

Talisman
Talisman is one of my favorite games. It is a pseudo-role playing adventure board game. I say "pseudo" because we always played out the personalities of the standard characters to the hilt.
